Rachel's Glowstick Princess Birthday.... Oh And Happy Heart Day

<span class=

After church last Sunday night, we all headed over to Piano Bar for Rachel's birthday celebration. I love all of my Mosaic darlings. It was so much fun. There were some really great musicians playing all night. I had never been to Piano Bar before. It was nice to find another chill place in Hollywood. You get a mix of places out here and you kind of have to pick through them a bit, but every now and then you find a little gem. It also helps that I was with a lot of my favorite people.

Colin didn't like the angled shot. I did. My blog. So I'm posting it.

I decided instead of posting a Valentine's Day entry, to just update with the last three entries that I'd been procrastinating on. I think Valentine's Day is great. But you should show your love, commitment, and devotion year round. Not just on a Hallmark holiday. If I didn't have to work, I'd totally just want to stay home with my Valentine and cook together. I think that is the cutest. None of this going out for overpriced price fixed meal crap. Oh well.

Food, Friends, and Fun!

Drew had free tickets to see Matt & Kim at the Troubadour the other night. They are so freaking cute. I've been listening to them nonstop for the past couple weeks.

Drew is on this new vegetarian/cooking kick. I benefit from this because he makes enough food for 2 and feeds me. Yum! He made a pizza the other night with whole wheat crust, fake bacon, pineapple, jalapenos, onions, and this bbq/chili paste sauce. Delicious. Paired with Newcastle (which Drew claims is the chocolate cake of beer), it was a fantastic dinner.

I want to start cooking more. Whether by myself or with friends. It's so much fun. Not to mention healthier than the crap I eat. And what a sense of accomplishment. So that's another new goal. To cook more. This blog has become my late resolution list. Whatever works, right?

Phantom!

<span class=

So one of my favorite musicals is Phantom of the Opera. The music is just incredible. Keiko says Andrew Lloyd Weber is the pop of musical theater but I don't care. Those damn Phantom songs lodge themselves in my head and I end up just singing them all day at work. Fine by me. And a night out at the Pantages Theater to see said musical, enabled me to finally wear my Betsey Johnson dress and Steve Madden shoes. I almost ate pavement 5 times because of those shoes but they looked great. Nelinda and Drew were my dates.

I also got to meet Nelinda's new addition to the family, Ziggy Stardust!!

That little guy has sooo much energy. I forgot how crazy baby pugs are.

I have a few more pictures to post before I get ready for work. I really need to start updating more often. It will be my new goal.  One of them anyway...
